Hmm, $30 million is not too much for executive compensation, but the lower middle class auto workers need to take a pay cut to compete with Non-Union workers working for foreign car companies like Toyota in the Southern states...Kashkari-logic

My Latest photoshop charicature!

Thursday, September 25, 2008

Henry Paulson-AKA The Joker, holds Gotham City hostage. "Pay up or face dire consequences!" he says!#6.
I was totally inspired to create this Photoshop charicature after seeing The Dark Night, the parallels are uncanny. But we don't have The Batman to save us, we have W. So folks, as Gerald Celante said, this is a bloodless coup d'etat. Its a DC Heist by Wall Street Gangs. Not sure what us regular folks will be left with other than a lifetime of debt to pay for others mansions in Dubai.

Hey! I found this music video I did a little work on many years ago. It is Lisa Stansfield's "Time To Make you Mine". I was in between jobs and I got to work on the coy fish tattoo sequence of this video. You'll see it , it's a gold coy swimming through a cloudy sky a la Magritte. I also did some work on one of the wings on the arm.
I am not sure the company still exists-SNEAK Pictures, and I have long forgotten who the Director was. Which is terrible because he was really cool and NICE! ( I must remember...) I also got to meet Director Tarsem Singh who dropped by because he was friends with our Director. He knew he was a hot shot & liked to flirt with the ladies! Ahem.
Anyway, its a blast from the past. It was pre-Digital effects, all the tattoos were all hand drawn and painted! I don't know who did the other drawings & color, but of course it was a mad rush job.

ARTISTS BEWARE-STAY INFORMED ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF YOUR WORKS and possible future changes to copyright laws!!!#6.
I originally posted the following: PLEASE take the time to read this extremely pertinent article about this unbelievable bill that may soon be passed into law if we all do not take action. Please do what you can to help stop it. It affects artists of all kinds, and it is a BIG one. Please pass it on.

My husband Russell Chong just launched a new website of his art.
Its still under construction so check back weekly as new art goes up. Refer to my favorite links list on right column and go to RGC: The Art of Russell Chong.
His work is really amazing and he is one of the main Designers/Visual Conceptual Artist on the new
Star Wars: "The Clone Wars" CG-Animated series being made by Lucasfilm Animation-(Supervising Director Dave Filoni). Russell also worked on the vignettes series of "Star Wars: Clone Wars" directed by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network a few years back as a Background Painter. Go through his television work and see some fun designs. His fine art is really mind blowing too. Enjoy his stuff.
For more info on the upcoming release of Star Wars: "The Clone Wars" see below.

So Happy New Year! I decided to post this little watercolor done on the spot at Joshua Tree a few years back. I love the park, as Lawrence of Arabia said " I like the desert because it is clean".
I love doing color studies on location , but haven't been able to do many the past few years. I look forward to getting some time back later this year to be able to do weekend trips to paint again. I'll keep digging up pieces that aren't necessarily slick, but have meaning to me. Well, until next time, goodnight!
